The Cleo connector.

Connect Cleo to Claude and other MCP-compatible AI assistants so you can manage your family's tasks, meals, groceries, recipes, trips, and baby tracking in plain language. It works with your existing Cleo account and only ever touches your own family's data.

What you can do.

Once connected, your assistant can help with everything Cleo does. Say “add milk to the grocery list,” “what's for dinner this week?” or “log that the baby napped at 2pm,” and Cleo takes care of it.

Tasks

See your to-dos, add new ones, mark them done, and reassign them across the family.

Meal planning

View the week's meals, add dishes to breakfast, lunch, dinner, or snacks, and plan from your saved recipes.

Recipes

Keep a family recipe library, add recipes from something you paste or a link, and pull them into meal plans.

Groceries

Build and manage grocery lists, add items that sort themselves by aisle, check them off, and organize lists by store.

Trips

Plan family trips, track who's going, link grocery lists, and build packing lists.

Baby tracking

Log feedings, diapers, sleep, growth, and more in Cleo Track, then review recent entries.

Nutrition

Log what you ate and review your daily totals.

Family context

Remember dietary preferences, what's in the fridge and pantry, and standing facts about your household so suggestions fit your family.

Cleo shares one account across the whole family, so anything you do through the connector shows up for everyone in Cleo Plan and Cleo Track, and the other way around.

How to connect.

Pick your tool, paste one URL, sign in. That's the whole setup. You'll need a Cleo account, so if you don't have one yet, sign up first at cleofamily.app.

Open Claude (claude.ai or the desktop app) and go to Settings → Connectors.

Choose Add custom connector and paste the Cleo connector URL:

Sign in with your Cleo account in the window that opens. No passwords or keys to copy around.

Ask away: “Ask Cleo what's for dinner this week.” or “Ask Cleo to log a 6oz bottle for Theo.”

The connector works with any client that speaks remote MCP over the Streamable HTTP transport. If you're already signed in to any Cleo app in your browser, the sign-in step happens automatically.

Safe by default.

You sign in on Cleo's own login page using OAuth 2.1 with PKCE, so your assistant never sees your password. Access is scoped to your family only, and you can revoke it anytime from your assistant's connector settings.

Read

Looking things up, like your tasks, this week's meals, or a grocery list, runs without interrupting you.

Write

Adding, updating, and deleting are clearly marked, and your assistant confirms destructive actions like deleting a task before doing them.

Review

AI-suggested additions land in Cleo as suggestions awaiting your review, so nothing is silently added to your real lists.

Your data

You're in control of what you share.

Data about your family is personal. Cleo keeps it all in one secure place, and sharing it with an AI is a choice you make, not a default. Connect the tools you trust, skip the ones you don't, and disconnect anytime. Your data stays safe, private, and portable, ready to work wherever you want it, and nowhere you don't.

The connector only reaches your own account, only when you or your assistant asks. I don't sell your data. For the full picture of what I collect and how long I keep it, read the privacy policy.
